If Tennant DOES run with the Torch, I want him in 10’s costume. Let him don it one more time, just for this. I absolutely adore 11 but to let 10 come back, just for one last run, just for this, it would be a dream come true for many fans. If Tennant does run with the Torch, then it shows how big an influence Doctor Who is, over England.

The whole universe is pretty much doomed if the tenth Doctor doesn’t light the Olympic flame…

I seriously think the BBC should do something about this. For the Fandom.

Legend says that the Face of Boe has watched the Universe grow old. There’s all sorts of superstitions around him. One story says that just before his death the Face of Boe will impart his great secret. That he will speak those words only to one like himself.

To be perfectly honest, the Doctor had been the hardest man to track down.  When we arrived on earth, he didn’t stay longer than a day, and even then it was in some small town in the United Kingdom or in London itself.  His actions were so sporadic and untraceable–thanks in part to the marvelous work done by Torchwood to make sure only the “right” people knew when he arrived or left.  But eventually, a break was made, and Nick Fury found himself standing in the middle of a green pasture, staring intently as the long-thought-imagined blue police box materialized in the middle of the expanse of green.

The door opened, and out popped a stringy man no older than twenty wearing a tweed suit and a ridiculous bow-tie.   This was not what Fury had been expecting.  He had been expecting someone who seemed, well, wiser, to be blunt.

“Excuse me, sir,” he said sternly, taking on a strict and upright stature, “you wouldn’t happen to be the Doctor, would you?”

“The eleventh and only,” the Doctor bounced toward him, childishly grinning as though something was bubbling to be said but was a secret he could not reveal, “you’re from somewhere important, I can tell.”

A wry smile flickered on Nick’s lips, “I’m Director Nick Fury of SHIELD.  I’m here to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative.”

The Doctor’s eyes grew wiser, “It’s about time you found me.”
